Bakersfield: Mike Sikorsky and other news
1. We are saddened by the recent loss of our friend Mike Sikorsky. With warm appreciation, we welcome Charlie Robertson back as a returning staff caller this year. 2. Our two Plus halls will feature both Classic Plus and New Plus dancing. Daytime workshops will include New Plus calls along with DBD Plus.
Trail In Dance
Thursday Trail In. Our Trail In Dance will be November 12 at Skateland, 415 Ming Ave. Rounds at 7:00, Plus will be 7:30-9:30. New improved sound in 2026.
Advanced Hall
The Advanced Hall will have computer rotation at all times. We are using the Swirls programs with RFID cards – the same used at WASCA and Huntsman Senior Games.

Food Service
Food service will be on site both Friday and Saturday along with a covered, out-door dining area.

Hearing Enhancements
Hearing Enhancement will be available at the Bakersfield Round-Up. We will have Williams Hearing Assist transmitters in one Plus hall and the Advanced hall. Different channels, of course.
RV Parking at the event
RV Parking will be adjacent to the dance hall. There are 40 hookup for electric and water. $41.50 Per Night. We will have a few more with electric only sites after we fill the existing spots. You may come on Thursday and stay as late as Monday noon. Click the “Register Online” section below to […]
